The way I see it
If Taco Bell would join the rest of us in the 21st century, the teenager working the drive thru wouldn't have to get all huffy when I don't have any cash and they don't take credit cards, forcing me to go eat at a competitors establishment. I mean really, what large company doesn't take credit cards? Think about all the late night, I spent all my cash at the bar and on strippers, business they are missing out on.

Back home, in Canada, just about every place takes credit/debit cards, including Taco Bell.
McDonalds there has been doing it for at least 5 years.
