Today is my sister's 20th birthday. She has officially left her teen years behind. She is 6 years younger than I am and this age difference resulted in many fights and torturing each other. Our lives together also resulted in so many fun times and happy memories that there isn't enough space on the internet to rehash them all.
Amanda, if you're reading, remember that time:
- I would do feet puppets?
- We dressed Adam like a girl?
- We played for hours under the trundle bed?
- We would get up before Adam and look at his Santa presents and then wake him up?
- We made huge asses of ourselves by falling in front of the band because I was on your back?
- We tried to shoot firecrackers with Adam on the beach in the rain with the wind and the rain and the wind?
- You came to visit and I felt closer to you in that short time than I ever have and I now realize that sisterhood isn't just about torturing our younger brother, it's about being connected, about loving, and about sharing a life outside the realm of anything else in this world.
I love you Manda.
Happy twentieth birthday.

OH WOW. I'm 9 years older than my sister and we fought so much but I don't know what I would do without her.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMANDA! I hope your 20s are everything you have ever hoped they would be.
My sister is 4 years younger than me, and we have gone past the fighting the become great friends. Sisters rock!
