Ten years ago: I was starting my junior year in high school in North Carolina. I was oblivious to world politics. I worked as a cashier / bookkeeper at a grocery store and I was single.

Five years ago: I was just wrapping up my divorce and dating the love of my life, my now husband. Dang, look what ya'll missed in just five years. ;) I was living in my first apartment by myself, working two jobs to save up money for a trip to Japan. I had just turned 21 and on that birthday my mom took me out for my first drink, it was great. I am pretty sure I had a rum runner.

One year ago: I had moved back to the East Coast from California and started working as an administrative assistant for a real estate law firm. C was starting his first year at the Citadel. My Nanna was very sick and later diagnosed with Cancer. She later passed. I was trying to readjust to having weather other than sun and I fell into a depression. I think it was weather related because there were several small hurricanes that came through and that can put a damper on anything.

Five snacks: Chips and salsa, chips and dip, hummus and pita chips, pickles, sundried tomatoes and water crackers

Five songs I know all the words to: Dang, this is hard because I know a lot of songs when they come on and I can sing the whole thing, but I have no clue what their title is or who sings them...so I'll just go with what's in my CD player - no matter how embarrassing.

Five things I would do with $100 million: Pay off my parents debt, pay off my debt, buy a yacht to live on, donate to charity (I know everyone says this, but I so totally would, at least $10), buy a crap load of shoes, buy outfits to match such shoes.

Five places to run away to: the beach, the mountains, a hammock in the back yard, bed, California

Five things I would never wear: thong bikini, low rise crack showing pants, a chain from my nose to my ear, flat shoes w/ a short skirt, anything with ruffles

Five favorite TV shows: Friends, NCIS, Myth Busters, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway

Five biggest joys: Welcoming my husband home from deployment, making people laugh, helping others, working in the yard (sometimes), a nice clean yummy smelling house.

Favorite toys: Hmmm...Nintendo Gamecube (perfect for lazy Sunday afternoons), Ted Bear (I still sleep with a bear), Purple monster from WalMart that Domino and I play with, when I was little my Holly Hobby Kitchen, Oh and light bright.
