Just when you think...

Just when you think nobody is reading you get a comment that really makes your day for the simple fact that it shows somebody is stopping by.

Now then, I trust everyone had a fabulous holiday? We were very blessed and for those of you sitting on the edge of your seats wondering... the SCARF was finished at 6:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. I had it done 16 hours EARLY! How dare you doubt me. Pictures, well, yeah...I took one on our new camera (woohoo!) but I haven't played around with uploading them yet. The recipient loved it and I hope she will get a lot of wear from it. The scarf knitted was Spike from Knitty.com and I used koigu in gray and green.

I'm looking forward to the new year and in the spirit of the new year I of course am going to make the traditional New Years Resolution. I've mentioned before my goal of trying something new and exciting each year so that's a given, these resolutions are just icing on that cake.

My first resolution is that I am going to try really hard to be drunk more time than I am sober. I feel that this will make life much more amusing and will really help with that new and exciting thing I've got going on. Ever tried to weed eat the yard drunk?

My second resolution is that I am going to try really hard to reduce my getting ready time by 15 minutes. This will allow me optimum sleeping time by only allotting myself 30 minutes to shower, dress and drive to work. The drunk should help with this scenario.*

My third resolution is to change my underwear more times than I change my socks in a week.

My fourth resolution is to only eat dry stale toast. This will aide in weight loss, the drunkeness AND the new and exciting thing. Ever tried to weed eat the yard drunk and malnurished? Woohoo!

And finally, my fifth resolution is to make this the best year of my life!**

*No, I won't be driving drunk! The drinking will help me to not realize how bad I look. Duh...
**Which, you know, if it's not I won't remember it because of the drunk! It's a win win!

Hmm...I think that all of these goals are attainable. Just make sure that you always have something to drink, clean underwear, bread, and a trusty alarm clock.

I want to be drunk too!

Anyway, I am always reading you...but I am too much of a lazy ass to comment. I was just thinking that my blog traffic has dropped off recently as well. I will have to start actually, I don't know, writing again to see if it picks up!
