In the new house (that we are moving in to on Saturday is a big portion of the reason entries here have been scant) there is a sneaky little light. It is a light that when we were first looking to buy the house I loved. It kind of resembles an upside down lantern and looks so cute in the eat in kitchen. I worried that it would disappear when the other people moved out. I now know why it didn’t. It is evil. Possessed I tell you. It hangs there looking sweet and out of range for head bangs and just as you walk towards it, it drops and catches me on my head and Chris somewhere around his eyebrows. It clangs and yells because of its obvious distress from being hit and swings angrily and accusing. Our beloved Dyson has taken on the duty of protecting us. It stands guard below the light, and the light is way too scared to come down when the Dyson is around. Just wait until the guard table gets here, then it’ll know who’s boss.
Oh, and there are way more adventures in home ownership coming...don’t worry.

Homeownership is so exciting and absolutely horrifying too. Good luck on the move and supressing that lamp's murderous tendencies. I can't wait for more stories.
